The Center for Family Health is a thriving federally qualified health center located in downtown Jackson, Michigan. Our mission is Opening the Door to Healthcare for all. We are committed to taking care of our talented and compassionate staff as they provide good quality care to our patients. We strive to empower our staff through education, training, and resources including on site physicians, therapists, community health workers and pharmacists.
We are actively recruiting Certified Nurse Midwives to join our Women's Health practice. Our CNMs will provide professional comprehensive primary medical care to patients in collaboration with health center staff physicians. We offer a unique environment that supports work/life balance and emphasizes a team-oriented approach to care.
This position has a competitive salary package, including 403(b), paid time off, continuing education allowances, and an excellent benefit package. Liability insurance is provided through the Federal Tort Claims Act along with a potential loan repayment through state or federal funding.
Salary: From $140,000 per year.
Qualifications:

Patient oriented.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Highly organized; Team oriented and ability to collaborate with others to provide patients with robust complete care.
Required Education & Experience:

Graduate of a school of midwifery accredited by ACME or (equivalent medical degree from a non-US medical school).

Current Michigan Registered Nurse license and State issued Specialty Certificate

Current Michigan License as a CNM and AMCB certified or eligible

Current DEA License

Current BLS Certification
-
One year midwifery experience preferred.
