Clinical Psychologist

The Center for Family Health is seeking a Psychologist for their main site which is in Jackson Michigan. This position will be embedded in the Primary Care clinic at CFH.  Primary duties will include initial assessments and diagnoses of mental disorders and substance use disorders, consult with Primary Care provider on psychological issues, and establish short-term and long-term treatment objectives for each patient based on testing and consultation with their primary care provider.  Specific duties include but are not limited to:

Collecting information through observations, tests, surveys, interviews, and other methods

• Developing and carrying out treatment plans
• Working with families, couples, and individuals to help them make desired changes to behaviors
• Identifying and diagnosing emotional, behavioral, mental and substance use disorders
• Studying mental processes and human behavior by observing, recording, and interpreting how people relate to one another in various environments and conditions.This position will be a member of the treatment team and will provide clinical oversight to master's prepared therapists and health coaches. The successful candidate will also provide in-service training for team members as necessary.Full licensure or pending as a Psychologist with the State of Michigan.Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 3-5 years of experience required. Clinical supervision experience preferred.
• Doctoral degree in Psychology required.
