Experienced Medical or Dental Biller
The Center for Family Health is seeking an experienced Medical or Dental Biller. Must have at least 2 years of the following AR experience:
- Office and or hospital coding
- Payment posting
- Navigating and dealing with insurance websites regarding eligibility verification, appeals, and claim status
- Reconciling EOBs
- Correcting and submitting claims to insurance companies
- Contacting insurance companies for payment, denial follow up
- Patient collection calls
- Working with EMR
This is a full-time, non-exempt position Knowledge of clearinghouse claim processing, rejections, denials, appeals and appropriate follow up are essential for success in this position.
Must have excellent attention to detail, great communication, professional phone etiquette, and the ability to work well within the department.
