Front Office Supervisor

The Center for Family Health is a federally qualified health center located in Jackson, Michigan.   We are currently seeking a Front Office Supervisor to join our team.  

Responsible for the supervision and direction of medical office support staff and oversees day to day operations of front office. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule staff and day-to-day activities of the medical office reception and support staff, schedule based on unplanned absences of staff, calling in contingent, temporary and part-time staff.  Fill in for staff on a temporary basis.    
• Oversees staff and daily operations of the administrative functions of the medical office.  Identifies and responds to operational issues as they arise. Resolves issues and communication concerns between patients, employees and providers.
• Works with Medical Office Manager to develop, implement and administer clinic policies and procedures.  Provides technical and professional support and problem resolution. 
• Participates in recruiting and onboarding process.
• Enters and verifies payroll and timekeeping data.
• Trains and develops employees, assists in identifying development opportunities.
• Monitors employee performance and maintains discipline through CFH policies and      procedures. 
• Work collaboratively with leadership staff and Human Resources.
• Conforms with and abide by all regulations, policies, work practices and      instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.
