Greeter

The Center for Family Health is currently seeking a full-time Greeter for our Jackson location.

Position Summary:

Responsible for providing excellent customer service, answering phone calls and transferring the call to appropriate area while also aiding in scheduling appointments for patients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greets patients in warm, welcoming professional manner, utilizing excellent customer service skills at all times.
• Discerns caller's needs and transfer swiftly to appropriate department or personnel.
• Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work practices and instructions.
• Assists patients and visitors, providing directions to various departments/personnel.
• Assist patients/accompany as needed to their destination within CFH.
• Assist with mail processing:
1. Signing for UPS, FedEx, Mail/Packages
2. Sorting inner office and USPS mail.
• Assist with various projects as directed by medical office supervisor.

Non-Essential Functions

Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Training/Experience

• Minimum of High School Diploma
• Previous medical office experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical insurance rules preferred.

• Routine testing/training on various job related skills and competencies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Excellent computer skills.
