IT Technologist

The Center for Family Health has an opening for an IT Technologist. This position is responsible for providing a broad range of technical support for the communication networks and systems of the Center.  This is a full time, hourly position. We offer a full benefits package including paid time off.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Configure, install and maintain information systems hardware. Create and deploy images, Troubleshoots and resolves computer hardware issues/problems. Initiate warranty replacement.

Maintains computerized inventory of computer related equipment by documenting new equipment received and disposing of equipment.

Maintains network and software systems through troubleshooting and resolving software issues and problems.

Installs software system and application updates.

Create and maintain Active Directory profiles. Review access and provide employee with basic software or hardware training and training materials during orientation.

Ensures virus protection software is updated and run.

Maintains office equipment (telephone, printers, faxes, copiers through troubleshooting and resolving issues and problems. Arranges for preventative maintenance and repairs.

Assist other depts. in weekly information uploads

Maintain data backups and log daily results, transport tapes to an offsite location for weekly rotation.

Provide support to end users requests.

Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work practices and instructions.

Required Education/Training/Experience

Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma.

Minimum of 3 years experience in IT related field, an associate degree or, equivalent experience.

Requires a strong knowledge of computers and how they operate, which includes having a broad understanding of hardware and software, processors, chips, programs and circuit boards.
